The only problem is that this IS acceptable to society now. More and more we see this behavior and these thoughts and words. Elon Musk, Donald Trump, members of Congress such as Marjory Taylor Greene.

This behavior is no longer an issue to people. The reasons may be many or perhaps only a few but the fact if if you have enough power and money you can do or say whatever you want publicly now and it is totally ok.

This has nothing to do with “cancel culture” but we have forgotten a simple fact of life you get to say what you want but your words and actions have (or should have) consequences attached to them.
