HOW TO WORK WITH ANUBIS

Ever wonder on how to work with Anubis? The ancient Egyptian God of the dead is an amazing deity to work with especially in your witchcraft or spell work. Deities are very helpful in everyday life experiences as well depending on how far along you are as a witch. Astral projections and meditations can be very good ways of figuring out when something is coming your way when a deity communicates with you. This video will go over what offerings to give to Anubis as well as what to place on his altars, a brief history, and how to know Anubis is calling to you. Anubis always drew my attention whenever Egyptian mythology was covered in school. He’s definitely a deity I’d love to work with when I’m more confident in my practice (I’m just beginning). Something I wonder though, I have 2 feline bundles of mischief who love to jump on things and knock them over, how angry is he going to be if this ever happens on his alter? They don’t mean any harm but he is still a god.

Anubis was the first deity that reached out to me when I was looking, 20 years ago. I basically just did a distress spell into the air and asked which deity wants me to work with them. And Anubis, manifested himself in front of me in the corner of the room. And since then I’ve wandered away and now he’s reentered my life.

I started to build a relationship of mutual trust and respect with Anpu a while ago. I always felt drawn to him and his energy. But when he came the same thing with Morrigan, I made myself clear in what kind of relationship I wished.

I was clear; I don't want to have the deity/mortal relationship everyone seems to talk about. I want friendship, mutual trust, and respect. If you come to me, I'll welcome you with open arms and heart. But I do not wish to be obligated to give materials offerings, like I do not wish to remove your freedom of choices. All I can give is pure gratitude and make you parts of my life as friends and guides. Knowing that, I give you the freedom to choose if you still want to work and accompany me as a deity but mostly as a friend and guide.

Anpu is still here with me, I often see him near me in flashes/visions, I don't feel the need to offer material things, nor do I feel pressured or less cared about.

I remember one time last year I wrote a journal entry starting by "Dear Anpu", I did not ask him any question.. I just wrote my own thinking and reflexions about things I did not understand about myself. I did not ask for an answer or anything. He knows he is free to help if he wants, but in my own beliefs, sometimes answers have to come from yourself and not from the outside.
If I had asked him to give me the answers to my internal questions, I believe he would have accepted to give them to me. But, I did not ask, I let him freedom of decision. If he thought helping me would be for my highest good, I believed he would help. But if he felt that the work had to be done by me, that I had to find the answers myself, it was okay too because he would still support me through the process.

An hour after that writing session, I was on my cellphone, and suddenly, I had two words coming to my mind. I felt the need to search them on google, and the first link led me to a website that had all the answers to those questions I was asking myself while journaling with Anpu.

I thanked him from the bottom of my heart, giving him all my feelings of gratefulness, happiness, and relief.

That's why I believe, when you connect with a deity who wants to work with you or be around you.. I don't think you need to feel obligated to worship like a madman or even feel obligated to offer material things. If you want, it's okay if you don't want it, it's okay too. You can't and should not base your relationship only on " I give you beer or whatever, so you have to do this for me in exchange." .. it's a kind of weird relationship where, for me, it feels like you feel that you know better than them whats good for you and your growth... when in the first place, it's them that came torward you? Give them thanks that come from your heart, share your joy, and tell them how their help made you feel, with sincerity.

But it's my point of view.. it may or not resonate. People are free of trying how they want to work with deities. (Even if, for me, the ritual thing is way too complicated.)

I’ve always been obsessed with Egyptian gods and the more I learn about Anubis the more fascinating he becomes. I just bought a small statue and after watching this I almost feel a connection to him, like the statue is protecting me. Am I crazy?

I started working with him about mid last year, and it's given me so much comfort. He treats me like a daughter to a certain extent. My biological father was in my life a solid 5 years, but Anubis has been in my life for nearly a year, but has made more of an effort to be in my life than my own father. He's a joy to work with. Before I fall asleep, I feel pats on my head, I think that's his way of telling me goodnight 🥰

Just realized Anpu has been in my life since second grade, he finally revealed himself to me and called me his child and patted my head. He has helped me when anxious covering me with love and helping me relax. Im truly excited to work with him.

Anpu first called out to me when I was little. I went through this huuuuge Egyptian mythology phase and obsessively studied children's books on Egyptian mythology which also included facts about Anpu and the mummification process. (At this time I was also fascinated with the human body, so it went hand in hand) However, being small with my parents being Catholic, that meant that I was Catholic too and I never quite grasped the concept that Anpu was actually a god that exists in the world I lived in. Still, Anpu called to me, and although I couldn't recognize it back then, I recognize it now and my soul is eager to get into contact with him once again. Especially now, after a thing happened years ago involving trusting the wrong spirit which I paid for gravely just over a month ago...now my own spirit is in pieces and I am mostly headblind... Anpu is not only the god of the dead and embalming, but he is also the guider and protector of lost souls. Now he calls out to me, again, and this time I'm ready to answer.

I am also excited because next is Artemis and Like I said before I had a dream about her she called to me. It was like a lucid dream but I had to be on the astral. He seems to greatly enjoy Obsidian, but do you know or have any thoughts about if he would enjoy an Obsidian Mirror? I know they are used to communicate with the dead, but I also know they are of Aztec creations.
And, another question, do you know if him and Aphrodite mind working together/alongside eachother?

I've always found great comfort in Anubis and have always felt like he is a fatherly presence even before finding out he actually is a fatherly presence. After I watched your video I reached out to him and actually got a response from him confirming that he in fact wats to work with me. So I would really like to say thank you for your help, and if you have any advice as to how I can work with him or tips on what I could put on his alter that would be great. Also I heard that he likes keys on his alter and I don't know if that is true, can you confirm or deny this please T^T (thank you so much)
