I have this car, and this review is right on. The car is exceptional with the exception of the harsh ride and disappointing fuel economy. Reaching the 25 on the highway means being very frugal and not exceeding the speed limit.

I almost got a 2009-2010 Acura TL in 2013. Got a 2011 Honda Accord V6 sedan instead, but I still really love this generation of TL.

typical acura styling, never tries to copy german makes like lexus and infiniti....i love it, soon as they fix the grill it will looks even better.

Yeah I have a 2011 6MT SH-AWD and your review is spot on. Ride is way too harsh. Probably the only complaint I have. Feels like I'm riding in an old wooden roller coaster

I think they did not go with a Touchscreen due to the placement of the screen. You would have to lean pretty far to input destinations. The screen placement keeps the it in the peripheral view of the diver.

almost got the sti. the dash was only 4 inches from the windshield and made the interior ugly. thank god i got the tl-sh. no way they are the same.

Ye I know! but i did notice they added wood in the refreshed mdx. I think Acura should at least add an option to put wood in the tl, cuz I know i'd pay to add it. :)

wow what if there was a head on collision at 2:46? wonder what the speedometer dropping would look like? ii bet most of the screen would be filled by the airbag.

-note, by all means, don't try a head on collision, it'd ruin the car and might hurt.

You have to go to accessories and then scroll down the interior side, then you'll see it

this IMPLIES that since you don't 'see many in YOUR area', that 'people', in general, 'dont like it that much'.

we have different tastes, and since the car is selling briskly, ENOUGH folks find it attractive enough to buy. no big deal.

@DJEddieXZ and what you see in YOUR area is different from what i've seen in multiple cities in the u.s. and acura says the TL is STILL the sales leader for acura. so, don't know what 'your area' is, but it's an oddity. people buy the car, some dont like the front, 'car and driver' says the car looks better in person, and it's a sales success.

nothing for you, acura or those that find the car attractive to be 'sorry' about. it IS what it is. LOL
