This man conflates the covenants to his own loss. The Abrahamic covenant is unconditional and seperate to the new covenant. I would hate to do business with you if you think agreements can be manipulated like that.

I believe that as a gentile Christian we are certainly not under the law of Moses

It seems that some parts of the Abrahamic covenant have two levels of fulfillment. So, Abraham being the father of a multitude has one level of fulfillment in the literal descendants of Abraham, i.e., ethnic Israel, and another level of fulfillment in the spiritual descendants of Abraham, i.e., the church (e.g., Gal 3:7).

One thing I am not sure about is the promise of land to Abraham's descendants. Specifically, I am thinking about ethnic Israel regaining control of land in 1948 and again in 1967. Does this promise of land still apply to ethnic Israel even in New Covenant times?

The land promise has not yet been fulfilled. This is also a part of the Abrahamic covenant. While the seed leading to Christ has indeed been fulfilled, the promise of the Hebrews occupying that land and possessing the gates of their enemies is yet future, along with the future literal physical Kingdom headed up by Israel's Messiah, who we know to be Jesus Christ.

While the Abrahamic covenant has undergone some changes throughout history, the essential promises made to Abraham still stand.

One of the key passages in this discussion is Romans 4:13, which says, "For the promise to Abraham and his offspring that he would be heir of the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith."

this indicates that the promises made to Abraham were not conditional on the Mosaic law, but instead were given to Abraham and his descendants as an everlasting covenant (Genesis 17:7). This proves that the Abrahamic covenant is still relevant and in effect today.

Moreover, Galatians 3:29 states, "And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise." This passage shows that Christians today are considered descendants of Abraham and therefore heirs to the promises made to him through the covenant.

Excellent - thank God for the few Protestants with the guts to reject dual covenant theology - I wish they’d let you say that on TBN

So, if you would explain what that entails? What would one do to be saved

Sorry, but this is eisegesis, not exegesis. Paul wrote Romans after Galatians and in Rom 9:4 he writes that the covenants are still Israels. He states this in the present continuous tense. All things will be fulfilled in Christ including the Abrahamic covenant when he restores Israel to the land in the future. Is 49:5-6.

It remains in operation today as an unconditional everlasting covenant “ throughout their generations “ ( Gen 17, 7)
What would the original audience have understood when these prophesies took place? The promises talk of Abraham receiving an heir, obtaining a reputation, being a blessing and receiving a land. No believer disputes that the first three were literally fulfilled. So why not the land as well?

This guy speaks of the covenants as if they were all one in the same. Now possible to be completely fulfilled because of Christ? Yes. Fully fulfilled as of today? No.
This is the Abrahamic covenant we are talking about.

Just ask yourself, does God go back on His promise? Count your blessings Israel rejected Jesus, it's the only reason you've became adopted/ grafted in to God's promise to Abraham. †

BS. Gentles were always open to belong to God if they repeated and lived by his moral law. Period. Religion created by false apostles and deceptions of blind guides. All anyone has to trust is in the Father ALONE our ONLY SAVIOR Isaiah 43:11. Humanity lost the plot over 2500 years ago.

Exactly. There is not one covenant for the Jews and another for Gentiles. But the Preterist claim that the modern state of Israel is somehow irrelevant is a colossal failure. Christ comes to literally reign on the Earth, physically and really, not figuratively, and will rule over all the world with his saints from Jerusalem, Israel, thus fulfilling the words of the prophets
