Xiaomi 14T vs. Samsung S24 vs. iPhone 16 Camera: Leica Wins!

I compared the camera of the Xiaomi 14T with the Samsung Galaxy S24 and iPhone 16. I was very curious about the Leica hype around Xiaomi phones and the Xiaomi 14 series, and I should say it did not disappoint!

the most wild point is price. Xiaomi almost half price of both. If you want better video recording stability, its easy to get proper gimbal for $100

Great comparison 👍. Xiaomi 14T costs now only about 400€ and it's the best phone under 500€ now for photos in my opinion after watching this video I was blown away by the quality, much better than both phones that costs about 1000€. I will definitely buy 14T green colour because it's nice & fresh looking and it's the only one with a vegan leather back which I love because it gives a nice feeling+good grip.

Thanks. The MOST important feature with camera's on phone is ability to capture moving kids, dogs etc....its rarely lakes etc. If you become the specialist in this field you will get many more subs I believe.

I recently found this out to be true. 8 have a Samsung S23 Ultra, iPhone 14 Pro Max and I purchased a Redmi Note 13 Pro. I had no idea that the camera would take better pictures than my Samsung and iPhone. 8 was shocked at how much better the Redmi Note 13 Pro did. So I purchased a Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus and I was blown away at how much better the pictures were.

In my country Samsung S24 8/256 price is $900 and iPhone 16 8/128 $1100.
I just bought a Xiaomi 14T 12/512 for $560 (67w charger and cover included).
I am very happy !!

the lack of 4k30 cinematic vireo on the xiaomi and the 4k60 on the front cam is a deal breaker for me.

This is very unfair tbh the xiaomi 14t is much cheaper and its a midranger while its competitor is a flagship and costs much more but tbh it still performed very well

If you like vivid colours you could've selected vivid filter on the iPhone too, that would've been interesting actually. Although personally, I prefer more natural colours, closer to reality.

In fact, I missed more comments from you saying what was actually closer to reality. Ideally, compare those photos against a reference device, photos from a proper camera, that would be a cool video idea actually.

I recently bought S24 and Xiaomi 14 for testing as possible replacements for my beloved Pixel 5. While X14 get a lot of love in the comments under every video I returned it and kept the S24. One of several reason was the camera. While my old P5 and the S24 keep a very similar look over all lenses, same can’t be said about X14. I made some photos in difficult lighting and every photo had a completely different look based on totally different white balances of the lenses. Same happens when you take videos and use the zoom function. The telephoto lens brightens up scenes completely at times and it just looks bad. Sorry imo Xiaomi has still a lot of work to do.
