Hiking the Highlander Velebit, Croatia

The #HighlanderVelebit in #Croatia is a 104km, 5-day alpine trail crossing the Velebit Range that divides continental Croatia from the Adriatic coast. The events make for an ideal introduction to multi-day trekking with all meals, a suggested route and relevant maps supplied. The treks are non-competitive, but there are daily checkpoints to pass through to gain your certificate and medal.

Hi, thanks for this video! I've got 2 days in Northern Velebit National Park and want to do around 50-60 km. Which section do you recommend I hike, and which hut should I stay in? Will they have beds available or will I need a sleeping bag and pad? Thanks!
