Canvas is a cheaper and lighter option than wooden panels. However, even a pre-stretched mounted canvas on stretcher bars will often need re-stretching immediately prior to paint pouring to ensure all your beautiful pours don't end up in a muddy pool in the centre! This video shows you how to properly use those little wooden wedge-in-a-baggie things BEFORE you pour any paint to stretch your canvas as taut as possible so that you're pouring your paint onto an even surface. Also includes taping precautions you can take to minimise a dirty bottom;)

Thank you for this. I’ve literally got thousands of these little wooden bits and didn’t know what I was supposed to do with them 🤣 now I know 😘💜
