This has been driving me bonkers the last few designs I've made. I didn't even know I COULD hide edges (sometimes being self-taught comes with issues). Thank you for such a SHORT straightforward video. I wish more YouTube tutors understood the value of a quick explanation!

I'm very surprised after 15 years of using Illustrator I've 1. Never had this issue until now and 2. Found a great, straight to the point solution on the first click, Thanks!

Thank you! You just saved me from calling (for only God knows how long...) to Adobe support.

You already have a new subscriber.

Thank you again! 😊👌👋

This video was uploaded two years ago, so I hope you still monitor your comments section. Is there a way to mathematically set the parameters for nods and handles? I am drawing a country map with states. Each state is a separate path, and all states together comprise the overall country map. So, it's critical that the borderlines match exactly. Now, it's pretty easy to do using straight lines. But then your state borders look kinda pixelated and cornery. And if you use the curvature tool, your borderlines don't match. You have to manually play with the handles, and even so, you can't make them match perfectly. So, I was wondering if there's a way to manually set the numbers for handles. Hope it makes sense.

But I'm missing a handle off one side of an anchor like your anchor at the top. How do I get that back on the other side please?

Trying to Make a Line without handles. So that when I add
an Anchor Point. I can move one part of the end of the line
and have the Line Start Straight not start curving.
