How I paint Pendraken 10mm American Civil War figures

In this video, I outline the technique that I use for painting 10mm ACW figures from Pendraken Miniatures.

I don't paint 10mm figures too regularly so I knew that I would need to adjust how I normally paint 28mm miniatures. I have found that by using a simple process and aiming for quantity over quality, i can paint 40 figures in very little time.

These are to be used (eventually......) for Black Powder, Sharp Practice and Rebels and Patriots. If you paint 10mm more often than I do, I'd love to hear of your hints, tips and techniques.

Lovely. I too have been bitten by the 10mm bug but I'm doing the War of Spanish Succession with Pendraken figures. I've almost finished a good sized French force and I'll be getting stuck in to a Grand Alliance army after Christmas (or maybe before!). These 10mm are so easy to paint and look great en masse.

Looking great I am in the middle of painting hundreds of these guys and am using posca paint pens for straps and bits n pieces as well as brush painting

Very interesting, I currently paint 28mm and thinking about having a go at a smaller scale but a bit apprehensive about painting figures this small but i must say they look great so i might just get a single pack and if i get on ok maybe getting an army which given Pendraken's pricing is very cheap compared to 28mm. Thanks for posting the video.

At 2'10 you mention something that sounds like "Normal Oil" I think for the wash. What is that exactly? The transcript doesn't help unfortunately.
