I just want to take a moment to say thank you! Your videos have been a game-changer for me as a plus sized girlie. You've encouraged me to experiment with my style and given me the confidence to wear them out. Keep doing what you do because you're making a positive impact on so many lives, mine included!

Honestly as a plus size person my New Year’s resolution is learning to sew, make jewelry, and crochet. My brother always tells me we don’t negotiate with clothing, and being 25 I’m like yeah fuck discomfort in anyway.

I have the same struggle! When I go thrifting with my skinny friends they always find cute stuff and I end up crying bc everything in my size is ugly 😩

As a plus sized person, I really appreciate this! The struggle is real and its nice to see someone my size style things.

I appreciate you sharing this, I wear between a size 10-14 depending on the garment and how I want it to fit, but I still have this mentality that thrifting isn't "for me." Every once in a while I'll go, but as a New Yorker I have only thrifted when I'm out of town. The thrifting scene in NY seems really different and my experience matches yours (expensive, disappointing, way less selection than out of town, and weird scenarios happening inside the stores lol)

The way that you’re an otherworldly goddess through and through. One of the reasons I love you and your channel so much is that you totally get that style is about how you feel, and that clothing is a cool ass form of expression - it’s not just about the look. (Which you’re always pulling the baddest, coolest, most unique looks I must add.) This whole video had me thinking about how my wardrobe must werk for me and that I want to continue to thrift things that I know I’m gonna get so much use out of! The snail tie was a must and your mom is an icon for many reasons including finding that dog bag. Sending u all the love Jess 🫰🏼🎋🪷✨🌸🎐🪩

I really respect the authenticity of not finding much and not overbuying. I love shopping, collecting, and self-expression, but with how normalized overconsumption is even in thrifting, it can be hard to not get something "just to get something." You're stunning and gorgeous as always stay wonderful

I live in the NY suburbs and work in NYC and this is what I found: YOU CANNOT FIND ANYTHING IN OVERPRICED CITIES. I did what you did in NYC and Boston-go to the SUBURBS. Queens, less so BROOKLYN and Long Island-and I’m an 18-20. I found lots of stuff in American Thrift. I am 55 with E-clectic taste. You should have tons of luck. ❤

I’m so happy to see other body types as a young person I’m tried of seeing the same cookie cutter body type and the pressure to look that way but seeing you confident in your body makes me feel better and good in my own

In Portland, OR there has been a plus-size-only thrift store for decades. It has even survived several changes of owners! Not everything there was great the last time I went, but there were a lot of things to try. If a small city like PDX has a dedicated plus size thrift store, it seems as if there should be several in NYC.

The little belt thing is honestly so true, I also live by that. As someone who lives for a layered fit, I always love how you style things so much.
