Today's live stream will be broadcast from a beach in Nova Scotia, Canada. It will be a "Live Q&A" where you can ask me anything about starting a youtube channel, making videos, how to live stream and of course how to live stream outside! This is my first scheduled outdoor live stream so please bear with me as I navigate any issues that come up... I did do a test live stream last night but there are some new things I'll be doing today... fingers crossed that all goes well!

I'm "Rob the Maritimer", and I make videos and host live streams on helping you reach your goals on Youtube! I talk about all the different software and skills I use to create my videos and will even demonstrate how to edit them! If there's anything you'd like to know more about, or have me create a video on or answer during my live streams, leave a comment below and let me know!

Hi again, on the Peanut channel you could use your subtitling skills and add text over the video. As if she may be thinking this or that as she does whatever it is she's doing. Maybe a little bit of music, sound effects and whatnot. I haven't finished the live stream yet, so perhaps this already gets mentioned. I have had to watch it in sections, and it's really good! Your sound is perfect, and the scenery can't be beat. One last thing, I remember us making 'sit-upons' way back when I was in girl guides. If you can find a stack of newspaper anywhere, you just tape it together and wrap tape and plastic around it to keep it dry. We sat on them around the campfire, and they're way more comfortable than they sound. Definitely better than a rock, and not pointy in the slightest LOL

Hi! I had to work so mussed the live but am watching it now. I wanted to give some information about an app that I discovered a couple of months ago for my Android phone. I believe you can use it on iPhone as well but it's called Open Camera, and you can just use it on your phone the same way you would use the one that comes with your phone. My particular Android does not have the stabilization feature in the camera that came with it, but the Open Camera does have it. I just thought I would share that because someone around the 12-minute mark asked what kind of camera would be good for stabilization while walking. Really glad I can watch this now, I don't have to work tomorrow so I get to enjoy this and relax. Always a pleasure to hang out with you and the scenery is so beautiful, it's no wonder we stay in Nova Scotia ☺️

Hi Rob,
What does one need to broadcast live from a remote area such as you did on the beach. I have an android phone. Thx for your videos and tips!
