The Widow's Mite: A Bible Story for Children

We asked kids to tell us the story of the widow’s mite in their own words.
In this story, Jesus was at the temple, watching people donate money for the church. Many rich people gave a lot of money. A poor widow gave two pieces of money called “mites.” It wasn’t very much, but it was all she had to give. Jesus told His friends that the widow had given more to God than all the rich people had given.
