Even in the first game we fought on capital planets defending and saving people, so i dont see it far fetch that capital planets would be played as maps, metropolis fights.

A random event where super earth is sneak attacked by one of our adversaries. Also a cool place to loiter and maybe like a common area to see a bunch of divers just messing around on "vacation"

my theory is that the war with the illuminates will start off by an attack on super earth, defend the home planet and then the frontline on probably the bottom part of the map will form

Random attack on Super Earth OR… Super Earth as a central hub for all players

Hopefully they'll be other city locations as well, first game would have us defending Super Earth City Planets if a home system was invaded along with other planets as well. You'd also get double XP for any mission set on a Urban planet so it was a great way to level up.

A surprise attack on Super Earth by the illuminate would be awesome. Maybe they open a portal on Mars and we need to retake Earth before launching a counter attack on Mars to close it.

But a word of advice for the aliens, next time you plan a surprise attack maybe do it before the campaign at the Creek, we're all as insane as we are deadly by now.

I would like full city maps. Maybe a little bit of outskirts but majority cityscape. Multilevel and accessible buildings (even if its just a fraction of the buikding on the map) would add a lot of depth to combat. It would also give extra cover when aerial units start hitting us. A bile titan coming through the streets between skyscrapers would be a sick sight

Currently in helldivers 2, the bugs will not actively avoid fire patches nor flamethrower attacks.

It was like that and helldivers one! But they have get to add that system into helldivers 2.

I would love if they added that, it would make defending from bugs. More interesting with things like the flamethrower or napon grenades

I feel like the Illuminate part sounds like a major raid or event order that's gonna be a special type of mission with all the unique dialogues

So super earth is already in the game ONLY way we access it is if enemy movement reaches super earth but it will be super super rare
