Here's an exercise, I wonder if the left-wing people would be OK with it.

Have the kids look at the labels on their clothes. See where the clothes were made. Look up on the internet what the wages paid/labor rights/women's rights/children's rights/environmental protections/ are like in those places.

The conditions in most of the places where your stuff is made would be illegal here.

45 states adopted Common Core. They are the same standards for 43 states. In Utah and Vermont, the only difference is they have integrated math in the upper grades instead of discrete years of math, so they blend algebra, geometry, trig, etc... However, in order to confuse the public, some states like Utah where I live, call it "Utah Core" and tell people it's not Common Core. It is. 45 states have essentially the same exact standards which makes it easy for big companies to market to them.

I see your audiance is mixed. Some don't get it. And that is the immediate danger, as time goes on...less and less will get it. I'd estimate 12 to 14 years before we have a generation of young adults that won't have a clue as to the significance of the points you are making.
Thanks for this. I hope you keep at it

I thought you said in your other video that the problem was that they over emphasized emotion.

Right now there are no Common Core history standards that have been published (that I'm aware of at the moment) and adopted. You can be sure it's coming and when it does, they'll marginalize the founders. There is a specific lesson I know of that instructs teachers to read the Gettysburg Address by Lincoln, in a non-emotional way. They are trying to remove the emotions and passion and it dulls the learning for children and lessens the interest.

This is straight out of Agenda 21. Regardless, I tend to agree with you. What we need is an education system where truth is the curriculum (meaning all sides are presented and source documents are used). Right now we're told there is consensus on global warming when there is not. We're told the *theory* of evolution is truth when Darwin's own statements about innumerable intermediate species can't be verified. We need pure local control at the family level. Google "Agency Based Education".

Information texts in ELA are presented to be critiqued. I thought people would encourage opportunities learn how to criticize unsupported claims. Instead this is treated as propaganda.

Does Common Core teach student about the foundering fathers, George Washington and American heroes?

Do you know if it's pretty similar in all states, as I understand it each state has different standards yet they are at the same time all the same, a bit confusing.
