Kansas City recently voted down a bond proposal to build new stadiums for the Chiefs and Royals. More cities should take that route.

I'm a non-smoker all my life and private property is private property. US visitors are not the only ones coming to Las Vegas and other countries have a much higher prevalence of smoking culture. ParkMGM probably went smoke-free since you don't see many whales coming into there. Caesar's still has a bit of cache to it outside the US.
Sure, let's make all of the casinos smoke free and send the EMEA gambling money elsewhere, as if Monaco, Macau and others. Even Reno isn't smoke free. So despite it, you want to see that visitor count and the $2.9B keep increasing, you need to cater to the customer.

If Park MGM can show economic success by going non smoking, others will follow.

Years ago, Silver City Casino, on the Strip, tried it, as well as a casino in Reno, south of the Truckee River, on S Virginia St. Neither property was successful.
