Pig Heart Dissection
Показать описание
In this video, using a pig heart, I will explain the pericardium layers (fibrous pericardium, parietal serous pericardium, visceral serous pericardium) and the external anatomy of the heart (coronary sulcus, anterior interventricular sulcus, posterior interventricular sulcus, auricles of the atria) and blood vessels (anterior interventricular artery/left anterior descending artery, posterior/inferior interventricular artery, circumflex artery, marginal artery, coronary sinus, great cardiac vein, middle cardiac vein, superior vena cava, inferior vena cava, pulmonary trunk, aorta). I will dissect the pig heart through the coronal/frontal plane to explain the internal anatomical structures of the heart (right atrium, left atrium, right ventricle, left ventricle, right atrioventricular valve/tricuspid valve, left atrioventricular valve/bicuspid valve/mitral valve, chordae tendineae, trabeculae carneae, papillary muscles, pectinate muscles, interventricular septum, aortic semilunar valve, pulmonary semilunar valve, opening to the blood vessels (aorta, pulmonary trunk, pulmonary veins, superior vena cava, inferior vena cava, coronary sinus).
