You are so relaxed when you record. I can imagine your heart stopping when you saw the M&Ms on your hard work lol. Thank heavens you were able to get the colors off your beautiful quilt. Muslin has been used for decades only being recently replaced with background fabrics which the manufacturers figured out would sell more expensive fabrics. The majority of my older quilts even had muslin backings. Your green quilt is outstanding. You have a talent for color which is so wonderful. One thing I might suggest is when you sew your points have them on top so that you can see those points and stitch so as to not cut them off. Hope this makes sense. You are blessed to have all of the noise of your Grandson. At 72 my home is all too quiet. I pray you and your family stay safe. I know you have health concerns to wear you mask and continue to be a germaphobe. Have a blessed day.

Add a bigger seam allowance and you will have a 1/4 at each point of your stars. That what I did on my Ohio star quilt and it workee out prefect. So I did a FULL 1/4 SEAM MAYBE A THREAD OR TWO MORE...God's luck I love your videos, something about you is so calming and entertaining. Makes a person feel less alone. God bless

Sew the seam with the point you need to make on the top. Also, pin on both sides of the point you need to make as the fabric sometimes moves under the foot. Also try lock the points first, then sewing the seams. I hope this helps. Thank you for all that you do.

Your colors for the star block are just beautiful. You might want to ask mom from: momandpopquiltshop. She's down to earth and can give you the best way to not cut your points off. I ask her when ever I have a question and she always gives me an understandable answer. She is also on most Saturdays and has 12 hrs on certain Saturdays. I also love, love, love your cathedrial quilt.
