This is due to that the face the animations may stop working, so what the bundle's creator did is basically simple, resize the face/vertices to a COMPLETELY small amount, but with the head mesh remaining.

An explanation for this is:
If your head wasn't there your character would just fall apart because the game will register you as dead if your torso or head was missing.
If you think making it transparent is a better idea then you're wrong because if it was the face you put on won't be transparent
