For those asking what this is used for.
I use these techniques to reverse engineer the commands required to control electronic equipment.
i recently caprured most of the commands for my solar inverters. i no longer need to be online to view the status or readings.
i locally host a device that reads the data and displays them on a site regardless of internet connectivity.
no longer dependant on a swrvice provider.

hey david, what would traffic over port 443 look like for this? i’m assuming the data would be encrypted and you would only be able to see header information on the packets.
