Another pro tip… when lifting items to a high elevation, run your straps/chains etc over the back of the bucket (between the center two teeth) and attach to an eye if the bucket has one. If not attach it somehow. This will allow you to roll the bucket out (dump) and get a higher lift while not having to worry about your straps/chains sliding off the teeth of the bucket. Much safer that way. Sorry, not trying to second guess your work. I owned 4 minis for about 20 years and learned a few tricks along the way. The project looks great! Can’t wait to see the apartment come to life!

As a remodeling contractor I can honestly say there is nothing more satisfying than setting a beam that is so perfectly placed it requires a bit of force to get it in place but not so much that it deforms. Those two floor beams were perfect, nice work you two! The joy in the work is in the details.

Hi guys... nice try. Take backhoe and remove pumping soil. Break up the concrete dumped on the hill and use that material to stabilize the sub grade. Bring in an excessive amount of crushed stone and place it first where this truck was stuck then on curves. You can regrade later and use for your road. Also cap the new crushed stone with fines and dust to lock the gravel in place. Just having compacted gravel with nothing to lock it in place just won’t work. I don’t know everything and I might be wrong this time but I have been in construction 50 years and I believe what I have suggested is a viable solution. Have fun and stay safe.

Ironically, the mugs I ordered from your site arrived today as I was watching you. The absolutely funny part is where they came from. I used to live in Southwest Greensburg! I know Roseytown Road quite well, I have travelled it many times. At the top end is a Goodwill Store on one side and a cemetery on the other and of course a stop light.
