Security Scan - Tackling Drone Threat

Drones are making a steady progress in both military and civil application and now these versatile multi role platforms have become a cause of concern for security agencies around the globe. In his first annual press conference as the new Chief of Air Staff , Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria also referred to this threat saying steps have been taken to tackle the challenge of airspace violation by small drones.

1st step in tackling drone threat is developing an industry of indigenous drones for ourselves. Drones ranging from a few thousand rupees to drones like Rustom. Drones of all shapes and sizes. Armed drones, surveillance drones, etc. This should become a profitable, exporting industry. One has to buy chinese drones for videography. This should change and DRDO can sell drone tech to a private company.
