Linear LDCO800 on Wayne Dalton 9100

This is an LDCO800 chain drive with a few years on it (over 10, I think), on a freshly lubed 9100 that has its broken TorqueMaster deleted, in favor of a new torsion assembly. It has a little bit of a whistle, but not as bad as some brand new ops whine.

pretty quiet. would replace the chain to a belt. all my neighbors have 9100s and ldco80's except our door has a hd600dm bc the linear stopped working

I've always loved Linear openers. They should be a bigger company in my opinion. They make the quietest openers you can buy today, sounds way better then the Chinese motors on the 87504

The noise is kinda odd for that opener, I've never heard a LDCO 800 have a whine like that all the ones I've installed have been almost dead silent, the chain drives might be a little clickety from the chain but that's it
