My friend came into school 4 days ago and says I wish I could draw like you I said thanks she couldn’t really draw though and you could tell she was jealous that I was half decent so the next day she came is with a perfect drawing of the simpsons and I was shocked I asked where did you draw it from and she said she copied it off the tv I didn’t believe her and told her straight up that yesterday she tried but couldn’t do it and now she had perfect circles and all she said no i am serious I copied it so when I went home I decided to check if she was actually being honest with me so I looked up how to draw the simpsons on youtube and all the characters she drew where there I came in the next day and asked could you draw them again without looking as a warmup as I called it and she hesitated at first but then agreed so when she took her first attempt she failed completely I told her to try again but she couldn’t seem to do it I asked her how come and she said she didn’t know so I had drawn this picture of a wolf and I noticed there was a wolf on her page it looked pretty similar I then closed my book and went to the bathroom and when I came back she had the book under her sheet and was tracing it I asked her why she was doing all this and she whispered into my ear I’m really sorry I am just jealous of you I really like your art and wanted to be just as good and I replied there is no wrong in art and it is not to compete about and then it was time for home the next day she came in as a different person with more sketches than ever and were all traced and only gave me evil looks but all I can do now is hope she figures out maybe art isn’t for her
