Where is the largest desert on Earth?

A desert is defined as any place that receives less than 10 inches of precipitation a year or less. I was alway taught the largest was the Sahara in Africa.
One of my students challenged me that it was Antarctica. He was right!
And the Arctic is the 2nd largest.
