I actually run a titanfall discord server. Me and the mods had been discussing what we were going to do in terms of titanfall as it was unplayable and quit frankly making alot of our members upset. This client is huge. I cannot begin to stress just how much this will change the community and honestly the life of titanfall. These guys did a great job. Remember they did this in thier free time we owe them nothing. Do not treat them horrible as they have brought us something incredible. Great work guys! You have given titanfall another chance.

I'm not gonna lie, this is huge, and what Titanfall has needed for a long time. The only downside is that there obviously still isn't anything for console. Absolutely amazing job from these guys though, so well down to them!

I just want to say that I am glad to have had access to the northstar client since July(even though i didn't really contribute anything substantial)

Also to all Console players, cross play via northstar client should not be 100% ruled out. It was proven in late July that via the console it is possible to connect to networks of other platforms(Xbox and PS4). the big hurdle with cross play is a platform check done on invites sent in the network. as for how the security checks are done and how many is beyond me, but there is a hope of cross play with console players(however not every feature of Northstar will work)

Sigh...glad for you PC folks. Sucks for the rest of us though. Respawn isn't coming to the rescue for us console players, and the cost of a decent gaming PC is roughly equal to 2 months of my mortgage. I always thought I'd be playing TF2 until the servers were officially taken offline, never thought goodbye would come this soon.

They are beyond amazing being able to do this when Respawn would not. Props to them holy shit. I play on PS4 so I’ll have to wait for salvation that’ll never arrive

I only have a PS4 so can’t play this but it makes me happy that these clever folks got together - put a huge effort into building this & it’s a huge two fingered salute to the ddos clown & Respawn for doing nothing. Well done - congrats to all involved 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Was a nice feeling to queue TF2 for download again. Will be hopping on the client after I get off work tomorrow, I hope to log in and see packed servers!
