The visionary behind this website, K N Shashikiran, is a popular musician singing as Carnatica brothers with his cousin P Ganesh. Having performed over 4000 concerts around the globe and creating a World record by singing a non -stop 24 hour marathon concert, Shashikiran is not only one of the most gifted and sought after musicians but is also an arts promoter, entrepreneur, voice expert, teacher, author and daily columnist. Most of all, he is a very enterprising, energetic and innovative thinker. He founded Carnatica in the year 1998 and since then has been a pioneer in bridging music and technology. Simply WoWtastic evocative performance extraordinaire - Mr.Vaidya’s nimble fingers flying at Suddha Dhanyaasi n the stunning non-stringing Outro piece at Vaakulabharanam. The euphonious Darbaari Kananada reminded me of Rafi sahab’s ‘ Jahan gardishon se ….’ Song where he touches his unattainable high notes! The Allegro piece of Revati-Sindhubhairavi gave goose-pimples ! The whole programme & the talented virtuosos made my day today, the12th Nov, 2023 ( Diwali ).
