Saw this in IMAX 3d last night. Far exceeded my expectations and it's a shame critics are not favoring the adaptation, storyline and love put into this film. If you are a fan of the genre and of the Manga series itself, you absolutely must see this film! I was captivated from the beginning all the way until the end. Only thing I felt it needed was another hour. The ending had me begging for more. I truly hope they make sequels....!

The movie was so GOOD! Absolutely loved it!
Tbh I was hating on it because I read the Manga when I was a kid (back in the 90s) and I feared Hollywood might botch it and when I saw those CGI eyes I was not impressed either, but oh was I ever wrong! Haven't felt like this about a movie in a long time, I can't wait to watch it again and see the second movie!

this was soo good! as a 3d artist I have to say the cg and animation are extremely good too! Its as if you forget shes cg.. I feared hollywood would screw it up but they followed the source material..You have to watch this

I was like meh when I saw the trailer, but this movie was VERY good. The story is deep and meaningfull, the acting is brilliant, the CGI is on point and the music is fantastic! Exciting to see what comes next!

I saw this movie just yesterday in Seoul, Korea where it has been test-released first. The movie is just about amazing. I wasn't familiar with this director, but it was obvious, right from the start, that he's got what it takes. He came up with this half-animated heroin that's absolutely attractive. I didn't have a problem at all to feel connected to her.

The movie has a good tempo, and also a persuasive story that I found easy to relate.

My thumb way up!

Just, the movie was filled with so much hidden messages and way ahead of its time. Just crazy crazy and I never bragged about a movie like this before, not to this extend and this is my first time rewatching a movie in the Cinema. THANK YOU to everyone recommending me to watch it!! I do NOT regret this, I am SOO happy got to experience and will experience this again on the big screen. I strongly recommend you watch it before it’s out of the big screen. It is THE BEST movie, regardless of how flawless the graphics were, the story line was soo well and put together that now I want to read the whole manga and even thou the ending was a cliffhanger, it was yet complete. It’s weird to explain. This love %100 infinity thumbs up 👍
