Looks like one of two things happened - either Max did not realize there was a turn ahead of him, or, he now believes turns will adjust themselves to accommodate his highness! :)

Lewis, had every right to turn right...even if he was trying to block Max. Max, was going too fast past the braking point. he would have never made that corner. Lewis, actually saved a larger crash. He stayed to the left longer.

How can you say it's Lewis's fault ? Max doesn't know the difference between PlayStation and reality. Still over 10 Laps to go and you do that ? You crazy man!!! And by the way you took Lewis the 2021 title championship ... away...how can you think he would let him to overtake that Way ? He's not a doormat like Norris. And if you notice, Max doesn't ever brake or back up. If he ever fights against someone who acts exactly like him... it's 100% collision like it's he's always been doing since his debut. 0:42 second, freeze frame. Max, is in full lock, 2 front wheels siding straight. He could not have made that corner.

Verstappen has a reputation for sending moves like this and making it stick. It is a high risk move though, it won't always work and when it doesn't work the price can be high. On this occasion he's lucky that it didn't cause retirement of himself and Hamilton. I know the stewards aren't supposed to judge incidents based on outcomes, but honestly that's nonsense because we all know they really do and we've come to expect it. If this had affected Hamilton's race it would've certainly been a penalty for Verstappen.

Verstappen should not have done this move in the first place while the Williams was there to overtake a nano second before. You lose the ideal line because of that. Impatient.

stewards reviewed hamilton's previous laps and determined that he turned-in at the same place he normally does for the corner. and since lewis was miles ahead of max entering the corner he had every right to turn in whenever he pleased anyway. lewis left max a cars-width which is more than max leaves anybody
