Everybody is always talking about Silverstone and Monza... but let's not forget Bottas taking out the entire WDC top 5 in Hungary except for Lewis. I mean, if your teammate takes out 5 of your closest rivals in the first corner... than give that man a raise.

why is there no mention of Checo's brilliant defense on Hamilton to let Max catch up with them, that man played the ultimate team game in this sport

Hamilton should have been penalized for cutting corners in the early laps tho

Looking back at the entirety of the season, Bottas was a much better wingman than Perez. People only remember Checo's defense in the finale cuz of short memories but Bottas actually took more points off Max than Checo took from Lewis. He made every strategic move asked of him and even slowed down Max at the risk of taking a penalty under safety car just to make the double stack pitstop clear for Merc. Checo was nowhere more most of the season. People who compare the two just piss me off tbh

When you hear it again like this, the amount of points Max lost because of Mercedes drivers is crazy. Would’ve been decided 2 weeks early otherwise

As a Lewis fan this hurt a lot, now the dust has settled I like to look back on it as one the greatest seasons of all time, it grabbed the attention of the world

We should be thankful we were blessed to see 2 of the greatest of all time go at it head on and forget all the controversy

The years Mercedes were dominating were a snooze fest for racing but then we got this masterpiece, one of the most exciting seasons ever to watch with the title contenders being tied on points in the final race, one coming from a years of dominance, the other fighting for his first. Since that year its been Red Bull domination snooze fest, makes me wish we could have another season like that.

I wished you mentioned the race in in Baku on how Verstappen's Tire blew up and Hamilton's brake magic.

If Formula 1 can deliver another season like 2021, the fans would be grateful that's for sure

It has been said that a man is judged by the quality of his adversaries.

And this rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen definitely proves it for both racers.

They definitely are worthy rivals to each other.

Aside from Hungary, Silverstone and Baku lost points, you forgot to mention Imola 2021 when Lewis got lucky with the red flag. Lewis deserves to win AD21 but Max deserves the championship.

The battle of the greatest of this era. Of course Hamilton fans didnt like the end result, but hey, this was an epic season and it needed a winner. Max did what you have do do to become a new worldleader. Overthrow the sitting 7 time champ. Thats what happened. With out of this world driving, a lesser car than the Merc and aggressive overtakes, he gave the world a run for its money. Whatever you think of Max, it takes talent, ambition and intelligence to beat a 7 time world champ. Respect for both guys!

Biased much??? Why didn't mention when Lewis' car got fixed in Imola under red flag and allowed him to unlap himself? Max showed a steady performance during the year making no mistakes while Lewis made plenty of errors especially at the beginning of the season eg. Imola, Baku, Monaco

Both drivers were incredible that season and neither deserved to win or lose that title in the manner they did at Abu Dhabi. Can’t help but feel Masi failed them both to a certain extent

hamilton hitting max in the back at saudi arabia, if he had known the rules you cant overtake a car you give position back to on the same strait.
also in bahrein hamilton exeeding tracklimits 35 times and the moment max said i gonna do the same, stewerds are saying the gonna look out for that.

Senna v. Prost was a much more tense and bitter rivalry. Media and Netflix hyped up the Max v. Hamilton stuff more than it was in reality.

So much Hamilton bias, not one single mention about the overpowered engine for the last four races of the season, no mention to Mercedes' disasterclass in Monaco (Ver 1st, Ham 7th), and surprisingly no mention at all about the Baku race.
A race where Verstappen retired by a tyre failure and everything seems to align into Hamilton's favour.
Though in a humiliating ridiculous error, Hamilton threw away an easy win though the "Magic Button Incident".

That race haunts Hamilton's fanbase till this day, as it exemplifies how he crumbled under pressure and how much this rivalry hurt him mentally-wise.

Baku 2021 means for Hamilton the same as Hockenhein 2018 means for Sebastian Vettel.
The moment everything changed.

It doesn't matter how much his fans try to bury this under a rock, we will always bring it to light until the "#robbed" crying babies stop kidding themselves and accept the truth.

"MAX VERSTAPPEN, FOR THE FIRST TIME, IS CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!"
