How is WARMANE ICECROWN WotLK in 2024?

The most popular Wrath of the Lich King Private Server - Warmane. And its biggest realm - Icecrown. How is it now - in summer 2024? Still worth playing?

Enjoying the Onyxia server now that I've discovered WoD Models. Completely different spell animation. The summoning portal is purple, the mage portals show a lens-like city, the slow dreadsteed looks more badass than the original epic one.

Just started on Icecrown again. I have not played on it since 2019. It's still a very toxic community. Don't expect to get heroics done in a timely fashion. If you don't have at least a 4k GS, you will be kicked out of heroics a lot. Also there are many griefers, players with extremely bad attitudes for no reason at all, 3rd party gold sellers making guilds to try and sell gold. Oh and the exremely hyper inflated AH, 2k gold for a level 20 green item for example.

Unfortunately population matters the most, and Icecrown has it. They also have the long term investment factor going for it. Im trying to stick it out, but it ain't easy.

I started on molten wow but unfortunately I lost ALL my characters when kaer left and they rebranded to Warmane. Now I just play on BlackRock because I don't have time to grind for gear like I did in the past. I just hop in and play.

PvE is fine, PvP is unplayable beceause one group with fun server. on arenas i have shadowmourne almost every time.

You can’t level on it people gank to much. It’s such a shame, I couldn’t do one quest in Outland because it got camped.

My main problem with Warmane is the elitist/toxic community, everyone has such a huge ego. Tons of drama between the guilds and people.
It's just mentally exhausted to play in there.
I tried to play on Whitemane cataclysm realm but same thing, in RDFs tons of toxic people, ninja looting and more.
Do you know a good server with decent community?
I heard Turtle wow is nice but after the recent hacks im not sure if they will protect my data that well.

Warmane was called molten back then and you can just buy the Frostmourne for only 100 vote points hahah .. never thought this private server would be this popular, now I'm disappointed of my self why I didn't keep voting to get more points .

Biggest issue with warmane icc realm is how hard is to gear up for pvp. Gear progression on icc realm work like this You cannot even buy furious weapon/wand in game meanwhile blackrock players starts with relentless gear and have very easy way to get bis pve items. BGS are connected together so as a lordaeron or icc player you are in huge disadvantage. You will be farmed for months before you have a fair chance to fight blackrock players. Unless you buy pvp gear for money ofc.

Server full of lvl 80 noobs killing low level Chars

from 7 years everyday logging to warmane almost everyday bro the community is trash and based on gear score and people are very bad at pve they cant complete a 8/12 hc icc with 6.3k gear score (near bis) and guilds usually focus on money theu inv freshies to hc raids so they can gear up and sell the whole acc later for aprox 100 euros an acc its sell and buy realm and in terms of pvp when u hit high rating scripting and win trading is a big thing also aint being racist but bulkans invaded the server last 3 years and the toxcitiy level increased by high lvls+ that 12k people is a lie bcs at least there is 5k bots online lmao
