In case if you're wondering why Death Battle are just reuploading the fight animations now instead of new full-fledged episodes, that's because their parent company, Rooster Teeth, shut down a couple months back, forcing the show to go indie. They're working hard on the new episodes, the first of which comes out October 6th of this year. They've also announced a bunch of matchups confirmed for the show:
