GGC - 12 - Incredible Northern Lights in Northern Canada

Part 9 of our three-week road trip across Northern Quebec and Eastern Canada (the Atlantic Provinces). On our drive up the 389 from Baie-Comeau to Labrador City, we spent the night in a road-side pullout to watch the most incredible northern lights imaginable!

I really like when you show a map of your route-since I'm not familiar with Canadian geography, it's really nice to see the map so I get an idea of where you are going. Those pictures of the Northern lights were stunning! I must see that in person at some point in my life! Great video!

Went to Goose Bay Labrador in 76 Air Force what a magical light show while on the flight line with KC135 at 3am 18 years old! Great flash back thank you!

I have never seen the northern lights but it has always been my dream. You took some amazing photos - the colors dancing in the sky! What a special night. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. I have to admit, I would have liked to see some video of the lights.

I've seen the northern light once... in Kentucky, of all places.  (I never knew they could go that far south) Had I not seen them in Kentucky, I would not be able to even really comprehend what I'm looking at with your pictures.  But now I can truly appreciate how amazing your night of lights must have been.

Incredible pictures! I remember seeing northern lights during a flight to Minnesota one night, it was outrageous.
