Well done to Ben and all at SATV…. your 3-minute build up was unfortunately better than the main event.
I guess money talks; Peterhead, Cove, Queens and now Kelty. A very frustrating day - totally outplayed. Kelty controlled the game. Two quick and poor goals to lose just before half time killed the game. I expected us to come out fired up with more intensity and press them in the second half but sadly it was more of the same. We continue to play the same set up as we did in the Premier Cup which is too defensive against League 2 sides. We don’t create much and I’ve no idea where the goals are going to come from now that Ryan and Byrne are gone. We need to press at times instead of retreating and leaving one isolated lone striker. Great to see Bikey get a game but he looked lost. He’s our quickest and arguably most skilful player so utilise his strengths and play him on the left wing where he can run at defenders because he’s wasted as a no9 with his back to goal getting starved of service. We must do better if we want to be considered as title contenders. Jack was sorely missed.
