The biggest flaw in this simulation theory is that if we're living in a simulation... What makes us believe that the beings who control us are not living in a simulation and so on?? This would just go on infinitely.

Wouldn't time dilation be an example of computational lag. When time slows down near a massive object it would be because of all the matter needing to be rendered in a confined space. Like how crowded scenes in games get frame drops but to the characters its imperceptible as it would be for us as we neared the event horizon or approached the speed of light

If someone ever questions what consciousness is and if it has a use, I tell that person that "How I describe Consciousness is that consciousness decides our awareness, intelligence, understanding and will of what our brains are capable of doing or thinking.".
