Yeah... I thought I was doing it wrong, or maybe the batteries were on their way out. I changed the batteries and no matter where I poked around my front yard, and every one of the pots we have... Never saw anything but 7.0.

If it keeps saying 7 scrub the metal with the green part of a sponge and makes it work better but the reading do seem to be a lil bit off

Mine reads 7.0 right out of the package on every soil I get the chance to test on. Got a BlueLab and it seems to read different on most soils I try it on. I guess the BlueLab is broken since it does not test all soil at 7.0.

I tested mine with PH solution it was fine when new, one year later cleaned probe had trouble getting it off 7 when reading apple cider vinager and then vinager lowest it went was 5.7 back to 7 on my water.

crazy that everyone in the comments is having the same problems as me with the tester 7 and only 7 all the damn time

mine just stats at 7 no matter what this is a rip off item just like most ph soil testers below 25$
