Government has no incentive to save money because it's not their money. Imagine having access to other people's money without worrying about paying it back, or being held to any meaningful consequences for spending it. That's why our national debt is over 20 Trillion...

We need a balanced budget AMENDMENT to the Constitution:

Congress is prohibited from authorizing spending in excess of taxes collected the previous year with exception of emergency military funding in time of war declared by congress. The additional spending can ONLY be used for funding the military for costs of that war.

I am conservative in mind set, but when it comes to those in government, spending cash recklessly is on both sides(DNC more so however),

Noo i say pay off our debts ! That way we dont owe anybody anything that would be a tremendous win for our president and the people.
