@POWPonderonWeather I was thinking to help your channel videos out with a proposed theory: if you use a TV and a camera to physically point at a screen and allow yourself to present your professional talks and gestures into a real life format, like local weathermen do. Can be useful to try once and see a mass response from the viewers.

Live in AZ, there is “record heat” every year now because downtown urban heat island and measurements are taken at the airport. Once out of downtown it cools down much more at night in other places. Probably better to do a spatial temp analysis of the whole valley instead of just downtown where it doesn’t cool off. This summer has felt pretty normal here not the “hottest on record” just an FYI. Those nighttime downtown temps can really skew the data
