After a decade of “can you do real work on an iPad?”, get ready for another decade of “can you do real work on a Vision?”

You taking your dog for a walk was definitely the most normal thing I've seen people do with this thing outside 😂❤🐕‍🦺

The Magic Trackpad works with it so why can't you be as precise as you need?

I was close to FOMO on the Vision Pro but think back when I used the Samsung Gear VR. It was fun the first 30 days. Then I never used it again

I did a demo of the Vision Pro at at Apple Store today, and the only thing that really caused a wow moment for me was the immersive video. Navigation of the UI was very accurate, but it would take some getting used to.

I’m excited to see how this product will evolve over the next few generations. In the current state, I personally wasn’t wowed enough to spend $4, 000 on a product I knew I would return.

Also just a tip. Using pass through uses almost twice as much battery. Vr uses less

What I've found interesting is that you can't let's say switch batteries, you have to disconnect one in order to plug the "next" one, or you have to be attached to the charger, there's no intention of continuous usage

You can walk THROUGH the displays and turn around and grab the bar at the bottom and the display will immediately snap to your new orientation

Can you save your work spaces or do you have to recreate them every time it starts up?

What about wifi or electricity on our face? Did you felt something? I feel it in my hands when I hold my phone.

Can’t help but feel that this device is part of the reason why Apple is not interested in really making multi-windows work on iPad OS. I mean, this runs multiple iPad apps that can be anywhere.

The cynic in me also think that the one Mac window is designed to be that way because they want a new App Store with new revenue.

In Australia this device will be crazy expensive when eventually released.

Really think that version 2 of this device that benefits from better power management will be more likely to entice me.

You say you can’t point and click, but can’t you use a trackpad?

Can you use it as a secondary display for the ipad Pro?

🐬 I really think that they should show the VR gaming possibilities. A lot of people think that the device doesn't have horsepower to do this, and if Resident Evil 4 VR was ported to Vision Pro, maybe using the PSVR2 controllers would be a awesome showcase to bring that sort of interest in this awesome machine! I've booked my demo for this Thursday, can't wait to test it! (Also I'm from Brazil! Only here for a couple of weeks, but I feel very lucky to get the chance to try it!)

Cool video! I’ve really enjoyed it so far, but it’s definitely fragile! I dropped mine once because of the battery cord getting stuck on a chair arm and it actually scratched the glass panel! Luckily it was not where the camera is, but it was nerve wrecking! I also got the  care plan 🙏🏻

I’m surprised that the man and legend that works solely on iPad says that this isn’t productive as your normal workflow

I'd like to see apple come out with a feature that allows your share what you're viewing in AR with ANYONE else over airplay whether it's to their iPhone/iPad or another Vision Pro

I don't mean screen sharing what you're seeing but having shared AR assets the are identically position locked and content synced and the other person has their own independent point of view of AR objects apart from yours.

I spent the last better half of the last two weeks trying to think about use case scenario's for myself. And the analogy that I think about is driving directions. Here is what I mean. When you have to get to a destination usually you have options and typically you always chose the shortest/ fastest distance from point A to point B . Occasionally though, if you have a scenic route as an option, you may decide to take that slower scenic route instead. To me, Vision Pro, or any spatial device, for now, is that scenic route choice. I don't think I can see a place where you will be more efficient in your daily workflow using this device. I see it has an an occasional device when you want to have a delightful experience, consuming some amazing media content, photography content or web content, but again in terms of productivity, I just don't see I don't see how spatial interface, specifically eyesight and tap interface, will be superior in efficiency of work, as to what productivity of point, click & touch interfaces have given us over the years. What are your thoughts?

Useful descriptive video on the features and using it, thanks.

I hope you take your dog out for hunting small game or at least chasing... ;-)

The productivity section was most interesting. Any thoughts on visor headset which can use 5 screens (but is not out yet) and is a lot lighter headset. For sure for Entertainment/Media AVP makes sense but given it's not great for productivity and is cumbersome an costly it will be interesting to see the future uses of this device aside from productivity killer as you say.

Thanks, I'll leave a dogo at the end: Happy hunting.
