Good video. Another way to grow dividend income that is rarely talked about is to reallocate the size of each position in a given stock if there is share price appreciation. You may want to use this strategy. on say 10 or more different stocks but for simplicity i can give an example with just 2 different stocks . Lets say your goal is $18, 000 per year in dividend income but you currently have $100, 000 in stock A and $100, 000 in stock B. Each yielding 6 percent . So your total income is just $12, 000 per year. Lets say that stock A doubles in price. You now sell all of stock A and buy $200, 000 worth of stock B. So now you have $300, 000 in stock B yielding 6 percent giving you your goal of $18, 000 per year in income.

Good video. And thank you for reminding me to sell my shares of PSEC! They haven't cut their dividend since I've had them, but I got a feeling their due. I like the comparison between Pepsi and PSEC. Keep up the good stuff!

I recently reconstructed my whole portfolio, went from mostly dividend stock to 4 ETFs and 11 high yielding stocks of BDCs and few REITs, I’ll flip it again in 30+ years purely for income when retirement comes 😂

DRIP's are better, if you want to grow a single Stock.

If you want to Use Dividend $ to grow "Other Items", leaving "DRIP Off!"

I do both techniques!
