What happened to Google Stadia?

Yes, I own a stadia controller. I had no money for a proper PC, and this was the cheapest option for me. I payed the price of a cheap android phone to be able to play AAA titles. I could even play on my chromebook with mouse & keyboard.

I searched for 'Stadia' because I was getting nostalgic again. It was good times, I rarely experienced interruptions.

I still get sad about not being able to play Cyberpunk 2077 anymore sometimes.

1. No selection of games
2. Overly expensive, especially for when it was just a cloud service. Just get geforce now for like 5 bucks a month.
3. Bad latency and badly developed software

I did enjoy it. Pre ordered and took advantage of the Pro games that weren't available to others later like all the Tomb raider trilogy. The library did add up with pro games of you were there from the beginning, but if you started after that then your Pro games probably was full of indie games that came later.

Also, it ran fine on my Samsung phone, streamed well and better that cloud and I still believe it looks better than when I play on Xbox remote play even today. I use twitch now, but the convenience of streaming to YouTube at the click of a button was sweet and wasn't limited to 1080p but 1440p on YouTube.

Overall it had the games I played, type cyberpunk and stadia in a Google search and you'll see where everybody else failed at launch, Google performed the best. I got what I expected, but knew where the flaws were. You needed connection, and when I did, I did like playing everywhere over 5G and WiFi when see home. Was ahead of it's time if you ask me.
