this theme was used from 1994 to when the show was axed in 2011. I have most intros / openers. didn't have that one. once again thanx for uploading it! VH was a awesome music show despite what some wousers say!

You know, the mid 90's still had some pretty good stuff here!! For 1994 I'm thinking Soundgarden, Prodigy, Blind Melon and countless others here. I'm trying to find the mid to late 1987 Video Hits intro?! It's a long shot but I must try, still 1994/95 were memorable times...

Does anyone know if they used the same audio for their intros for the 1994-95 and 1996-98 openers? They modified it a little in subsequent years.

I think I had this opener (or one very similar to it) on a Beta video back in the day. We had a Beta player up until the mid 1990s before we finally moved onto VHS (after Beta lost the video battle). I actually recorded a lot of this kind of stuff on Beta tapes back in the 1980s - early 1990s. I wish I had kept more of them (if only I had known about the future [YouTube] back then)... Most of the tapes are long gone now though. 😣

I used to watch video hits as a little child. Video hits was fun to watch on tv. Sadly this show got the axe in 2011. I was very disappointed about the axing of this music show.

hi Anthony 78977 I have been searching for this intro a lot! I remember it as a kid unfortunately wasn't able to record it myself cause at the time I didn't have access to a vhs machine or tape! this brings back memories! BTW this is from 1996 or late 95 not 94 cause I have half of the 94 one which I found online!
