‘What a joke’: Peter Leahy warns Australia is a ‘strategic liability’ to the US

Sky News host Erin Molan has hit out at politicians for being too concerned with being re-elected and putting the long-term defence of Australia at a very distant second.

Writing in The Australian, former Army chief Peter Leahy warned the Australian Defence Force is now a “strategic liability” to the United States and argued the country’s military is “stretched too thin”.

“This failure to prepare lies at the feet of those in power over many, many years in this country,” Ms Molan said.

The only reason we would need a military is the defence of Australia and not for fighting wars for the Globalists Elites. If our politicians want to go and fight in someone else’s war, then by all means send the politicians to fight. In fact make it a law that if politicians want war, they are the ones who would be sent to fight.

When was the last time a media worker quit and went into the military, even one of the Reserve services, for even three years? Saying politicians aren't doing their job, belies the need for everyone to contribute. Put your hair up and go serve.

All politicians should be required to complete 5 years in the ADF as Full Time or Part time before they qualify to run for the role as a politician.
