this song makes me feel so at peace. i’ve been chronically depressed for years and now that im older trying to figure out what im going to do about college/bills/careers etc.. i hate it all. i know it will get better eventually… but it feels like it never will. i feel like im always grieving. over things that have happened, are currently happening and that will never happen. but this song makes me imagine a life where im content and don’t have to worry about money so i get to spend all my time writing and creating art & food. that chronic depression now just a whisper of an echo. and when i go to bed, im a content type of sleepy. where my eyes are drooping but there is a smile on my face as i get under the blankets, cheeks rosy. i know tomorrow will be beautiful but all that matters is the sound gentle rain and feeling full in my heart as i slip into a deep restful slumber.

please let me have this one day

Some people choose to keep writing, staying alive, others decide to tear the paper and throw it in the garbage, taking their life away from themsleves.



What im saying is, dont give up on yourself, alright? Even at the worst times possibly, even if your going through a whole war against your own soul, keep standing, and stay with your pride.
