With support from Pine Biotech and OmicsLogic's global team, the program provides insights into technologies at the forefront of bioinformatics research, mathematical modeling, algorithm development, spatial transcriptomics, vaccine development, and more. ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr. Mohit Mazumder has over 12 years of research & industry experience. He completed a Masters’s in Bioinformatics from Jamia Millia Islamia and a Ph.D. in computational biology & chemistry from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). He is an expert in machine learning in application to biomedical & chemical data. He is currently heading the Global Business Development for OmicsLogic, and contributing to bioinformatics research and education by collaborating with universities in India and Africa and mentoring participants from various programs by providing bioinformatics research support by applying statistical & algorithmic approaches.

ABOUT THE IIT JODHPUR PROGRAM

The rapid advancements and complex nature of OMICS technologies present significant challenges. To meet the growing demands and complexities of this field, IIT Jodhpur, in collaboration with industry partners, presents the Postgraduate Diploma in Next Generation OMICS Technologies and Applications.

This comprehensive program is skill-based and designed to equip you with the knowledge and expertise necessary to thrive in this rapidly evolving OMICS domain. We offer three flexible programs: a six-month Basics Certificate Program I, a six-month advanced Certificate Program II, and a combined one-year PG diploma program.

From next-generation sequencing to data analysis and biological interpretation, participants will engage in wet and dry lab practicals hands-on during campus immersion at IIT-Jodhpur. In addition, participants will also undertake a mini-project in collaboration with either an industry partner or IITJ faculty members.
