Arezzo is sop underrated.
Monte san Savino, Cortona, and all the casentino valley are precious and full of history, but most of all, really not busy and enjoyable, price reflect that .

Thanks for the tips. We stayed in the gorgeous village of Gombitelli, 12km from Lucca and 25km north of Pisa. Visited both and more, best holiday ever❤

There is only one place in the world where everyday life is so completely reflected in the sublime, in a wonderful mix of nature and is Tuscany.

We drove 3 hours to saturina, was wonderful.
Got to a small town to have lunch, the people were super nice.
Best time ever.

We missed Lucca and Arrezo, so maybe one day we'll be back there for more :)
Renting a car in touscany is a must!

I stumbled across Arezzo by accident when I got off at the wrong stop on the train, and what a wonderful mistake!! Absolutely lovely town, so underrated, I went in March so there was barely any tourists.

Thanks (Grazie) for this info. My friends and I will be staying in a small village monteriggioni near Siena . I was a bit hesitant about renting a car, but now I’m confident in going ahead and renting one. Your photos are stunning!! Again thanks for sharing the info!!

Hello Stefano, love your video. I've been to Florence several times and love everything about it. I traveled to Lucca on my last trip and have to disagree about this area. It was very difficult walking inside the main area, was getting lost on the tiny streets and alleys, and didn;t find the experience very enjoyable. It was also at least an hour and a half away from Florence by train!
