RG35XX PLUS Tutorial How To Flash Stock OS To New SD Card | 2 Methods

Hey retro game fans, so you got your nice new RG35XX PLUS in the mail, now you have to make a copy of micro SD card to one that you can rely on. I know it sounds complicated but I'm here to help. Follow me as I guide you step by step on how to flash your new SD card with the stock operating system. Trust me it's easy.

Preparation Need Materials
Micro SD card reader
Stock OS SD Card
New SD Card At least 64gb

Thanks man. Everyone on the rg35xx subreddit whines when op asks how to do this and tells them to get garlic/sends them a garlic guide.. Every single post about flashing stock os is literally full of ppl saying “stock OS is shit. Only way to go is Garlic”. As a result, now with a rg35xx+ there’s no tutorial or how to online. Super frustrating and considering garlic 2.0 is a mess, I’m gonna wait for it. Stock OS for now & it looks fine to me as it is

It's now working. After doing this process, I copied all bios and everything from the original sd card to the new sd. And everything is looking good. Also the boot logo is working great

The garbage sd card that came with it would not boot so I followed this and flashed a new good card and all is perfect. Great video man and thanks 👍

Nice, thank you for the tutorial. I had to figure it out myself for the rg35xx before this tutorial. Took me a while because I had know idea how to do it. I did the first method you showed in this video, but a 2 card setup. So I have 1gb software on a 64GB sd card 😂, and a 32GB sd card for games. For those of you figuring out the stock os and posting it, THANK YOU. I prefer the stock is over the garlic os. 😊👊

You have created a BIOS folder. Where should I put the files and what files are they? Where can you get them?

I couldnt use the original method posted but following this tutorial it works for me as well. Also, as alternative of mini tool partition I am using Disk Genius that have a portable version. Thank you for sharing yours tips. Cheers mate

Ehhh, I just took the SD Card today, to do a backup on my computer. Just took the SD Card, used adapter, copied it to hard drive. Used FAT32 formatter to format new, better sd card, copied the files and... It won't power up. I put original SD card back, and it won't power up... Did I bricked my Anbernic?

Can i use the stock Firmeware on the official site from Anbernic, to make a new sd card like Method 1.?
