Mario Andretti talks America's new Formula 1 team

CBS News Detroit sports anchor Rachel Hopmayer catches up with racing legend Mario Andretti. The two talk about how General Motors will enter the Formula 1 fray in 2026 with its Cadillac entry.

It's always been difficult for me to watch a Formula 1 race, knowing there's no American driver or American team in the race, let alone an American car mfg., like Cadillac in the mix. 😊

Nobody’s gonna mention that the only way this new entry was allowed by F1 - when Andretti name was removed from it and this was made a predominantly Cadillac entry

Mario, please rescue Indycar from its current marketing department. They aren't getting the job done and need another approach to build the series. I love Indycar and think it's the best racing in the world in many different ways. It needs more races and more and better promotion, thanks.
