I honestly prefer the Japanese one since it’s the ‘original’ adaptation since it is part of the series where all the books are adapted into either the tv series or the movie while this Chinese version only adapted this book, unless the Chinese version also adapts from the whole book series like the Japanese one I won’t be too keen in this movie.
