President Trump warned of this but the “affluent” voted for these very policies just not in their neighborhood. Using the Mountain Lion as their excuse is as bad as the homeless guy who uses his sunglass wearing dog to beg for money and then gets in a new SUV to drive home.
Just be honest they don’t want the burden of low income people bringing down their property values. Hypocrisy at it’s finest!

I'm for affordable housing for low to moderate income individuals.
BUT the SB9 law is just building "AVAILABLE" housing, in no way is it "Affordable" housing - let the co-writers of this bill explain how the new buildings will become "Affordable" housing and not just "MORE" housing.
I, personally, live in a moderate-income apartment now and very thankful that we live here - it's still expensive but our rent increases are something that we can foresee and adjust to because it is related to the CPI (Consumer Price Index).

I'm on the side of any town/city fighting this SB9 Law and that includes the wealthy town of Woodside, CA.
No city/town should be forced to have this regulation - it does not promote affordable housing; it only promotes more and more housing, and the Landlords will STILL ask for high rents and give astronomical rent increases.
This bill is and will be taking away the character of all the cities/towns in the SF Bay Area and isn't up to them (city/town) to choose how they want their living environment to be?

If California closed their southern border the residents wouldn't need to build 4 homes in their back yard.

Mountain lions can't live off of Little Caesar's Pizza scraps, they need at least one star Michelin diets

Environmental laws were made to protect wildlife. Obey the law. Mountain lions can’t vote. We have a large empty land in Golden Gate Park for affordable housing Scott.

I've been saying that predators need to be reintroduced to wealthy areas of Kalifornistan.
And I think Golden Gate Park is a great place for mountain lions, wolves, and coyotes, so Dems can enjoy nature close up.

It’s sad that so many low income people made such a bad rep to the point people would rather have wild animals roaming their neighborhoods.

From a city that exiled the Ohlone, now cares more for lions than poor people cause it crams their style haha😅

Good for affluent Woodside. Why would a homeowner there want low income housing on their back porch? All cons, no pros. Vast expanse of low income housing inland California, go check it out. 👍

Yes, let's have EVERYONE ELSE pay so those who can't afford to live in upscale places CAN, so the poor don't have to be inconvenienced by living where LAND IS CHEAPER LIKE THEY SHOULD. And I can't afford to eat at the Ritz Carlton every day. So if the rest of you would SUBSIDIZE ME EVERY DAY, then I won't have to go where I can afford to go, LIKE TO MCDONALD'S.

Firstly, "affordable housing" is based on a formula. Secondly, it's good to see conservation programs paying off. Lions in suburban CA and bears in FL.
