My main problem with the fast torpedoes being used against dds, at least with the weser, is that despite being harder to pull off, it only does about as much damage as a good HE rocket attack from other nations since realistically you'll only hit with one. Still the torp bombers are fun to use.

How to play depends on the tier.
At tiers 4 and 6 the best results i had were by ramming, i even sunked a dd and survived the crash. Tier 8 cv is actually able to deal some damage, if an enemy ship is alone, and you are fast... But unless you are against a tier 6 with crap aa, you will be able to attack only once, before all your planes are wiped away

imagine if you were fighting with some of these cc with your dd, you launch all your torps and enemy manage to dodge all your torps and instead of runing away he is suddenly turning towards you
